The lab bench · numbers, wires, and one running joke

Instrumentation

I have kept a journal most nights since PhD started — sleep, screen time, what I spent, whether I ate something regrettable. This page reads that database directly. Nothing here is retouched, which is occasionally embarrassing.

Mean sleep 7.38 h Target was eight. Target remains aspirational.

IDLE

Nothing moved. No electrons were harmed, no relays clicked, and my room remains undisturbed. The real versions of these — a NodeMCU relay board with manual override and an emergency cut-off — are documented in two published papers, and the live dashboard is on the campus intranet where it belongs.

Guestbook

Empty so far. There is a button above, and there are five other ways in — some of which need a keyboard, some of which need a thumb. On a desktop, rvm.help() in the browser console lists what it can do.
